Moto2 Sepang Day-1: Luthi davanti a Folger e Zarco

Con il crono di 2’07.453, lo svizzero Thomas Luthi (Derendinger Racing Interwetten) è stato il pilota più veloce nel venerdì di libere per il GP di Malesia, penultimo round stagionale del Motomondiale 2015 (clicca qui per risultati e copertura TV). Nella classifica combinata dei tempi di oggi, l’elvetico ha preceduto il tedesco Jonas Folger (AGR Team, +0.285), che era stato il più veloce nelle FP1 del mattino, e il neo-Campione del Mondo Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsport, +0.417).

Alle loro spalle, sempre nel computo delle due sessioni, si sono classificati l’inglese Sam Lowes (Speed Up Racing, +0.495), Alex Rins (Paginas Amarillas HP 40, +0.736) e Takaaki Nakagami (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia, +0.736) mentre il primo pilota italiano è risultato Simone Corsi (Forward Racing), 11° a +0.921 dal crono di Luthi grazie al 2’08.374 messo a segno al mattino.

14° Franco Morbidelli (Italtrans Racing), che è passato dal 2’08.893 delle FP1 al 2’08.615 delle FP2, mentre il marchigiano Lorenzo Baldassarri (Forward Racing), reduce dal suo primo podio in carriera la scorsa domenica a Phillip Island, è 17° assoluto grazie al 2’08.799 delle FP1, mentre nelle FP2 non è riuscito a far meglio di 2’09.342.
