Sono stati presentati ufficialmente i Team ed i piloti che difenderanno i colori TM nei vari Campionati del Mondo 2006: Motocross, Enduro e Supermoto.
Nel MOTOCROSS è stata confermata la fiducia per il terzo anno consecutivo al finlandese Antti Pyrhonen alla guida di una TM MX 450 F nella classe MX1. Pilota molto veloce e specialista dei tracciati sabbiosi nel 2005 è stato rallentato da un infortunio patito nel GP del Sud Africa, lo aspettiamo quindi per un grande riscatto.
Nell’ ENDURO saranno 4 i piloti impegnati in gara con “le blu” made in Pesaro.
L’Australiano vice Campione del Mondo Jake Stapleton che, in sella alla TM EN 250 due tempi, tenterà l’assalto al titolo mondiale nella categoria EJ (under 21).
Il Finlandese Campione del Mondo 2003 Petri Pohjamo che quest’anno si ripresenta al via del Mondiale E1 con la TM EN 125 ufficiale. Il “gigante” Scozzese Euan Mc Connell al Debutto nella classe E2 con la TM EN 450 F, a lui il compito di domare la possente 4 tempi pesarese.
Il Campione Italiano in carica nonché vincitore con la Nazionale Italiana della Six Days 2005 Alessio Paoli il quale parteciperà al campionato del mondo della classe E3 con la TM EN 300.
Novità anche per il Team SUPERMOTO che con il ritorno di Fabio Balducci punterà all’alloro più prestigioso della classe S2 con la TM SMX 450 F.
New entry anche per Simone Girolami che sarà al via del Mondiale S1 con la TM SMX 700 F. Riconfermato Robert Baraccani, anche lui nella classe S1 ma in sella alla TM SMX 530 F.

Nel dritto sono le migliori ma purtroppo nelle gare ci sono anche le curve e le TM in curva sono proprio indietro. E poi il freno posteriore e di una immodulabilità spaventosa. Addirittura ricordo che gli ufficiali spruzzavano dell’olio spray direttamente nel disco per non farlo bloccare! Lazzarini nel mondiale cross dopo metà anno si fece fare un telaio con le stesse identiche quote della CR e a fine anno abbandonò sconsolato.
